There’s a Lot of Energy at School
All children are sensitive, whether they show it or not.
And classrooms are filled with a flurry of emotional energy — especially in the preschool and kindergarten years.
The first day I dropped off my daughter at school, as an empath, I felt like I had to duck and take cover.
There was SO MUCH ENERGY swirling around. Anger, frustration, fear, sadness, excitement. It was distracting and unsettling. And I’m an adult who knows how to shield and clear my auric field. I can’t imagine how my daughter was feeling.
So the next morning I was prepared.
Each car ride into school, I guide my daughter through a two-minute positive visualization that:
- shields her from other children’s energy
- helps raise her energetic frequency
- empowers her
- helps her feel loved
- sets a great positive tone for the day.
It’s a beautiful, daily ritual that we both love.
Here’s exactly what we do.
Before School Positive Visualization for Children
[Me:] Imagine a giant star above your head. It’s so bright! What colour is it?
[My daughter:] It’s white with a bit of pink in it. (Her answer changes each day.)
[Me:] Now let’s fill that giant glowing star with lots of love. Whose love do you want to put in it?
[My daughter:] The angels’ love, God/Source’s love, my guides’ love … (She goes on for a while listing all of her spiritual support team.)
[Me:] Wow! That’s so much love! Okay, now suck that giant star filled with love into your heart with a big deep breath in. Ready, go!
[My daughter:] (Takes a deep breath in.)
[Me:] Now blast that love and light all around you with a big breath out of your mouth.
[My daughter:] (Whooshes out a breath.)
[Me:] Great! Now you’re surrounded by a big bubble of light and love! And if anyone’s sad or anyone’s mad today, instead of feeling their hurt, you’ll just feel all that love around you and they may feel it too.
That’s It!
As you see, it’s super simple. And it’s a really nice morning ritual we do together each day.
If you don’t drive your child to school, it’s something you can do as they’re eating breakfast or right before you leave the house.
Trust me, it’s worth those two minutes. What better way for your little one to go about the day than carrying pure love and support with her in that bubble of light?
Hope you enjoy it!
